Does Kinlare collect rent for me?
No. Tenants pay you directly by UPI, bank transfer or cash, as they do now. Kinlare keeps the shared record: who paid, the proof, your confirmation and the receipt. It never holds your money.
Do my tenants have to pay or install anything?
Tenants never pay for Kinlare. They can use the app to add proof and get receipts. If a tenant does not want to, you can record their payment yourself.
Can I use it for cash rent?
Yes. Record a cash payment in a few taps and Kinlare makes the receipt. You can send it on WhatsApp or print it.
Are the receipts valid for HRA?
Kinlare receipts carry the details an HRA rent receipt usually needs: tenant and owner names, address, amount, period and date. Your tenant's employer decides what they accept, and some ask for the owner's PAN above a yearly rent limit. More on rent receipts.
